Garden, Bologna, 2008
Against the elegant backdrop of a neo-classical villa, the design of a modern garden organised over two spaces. Overlooking the hills of Bologna, the terrace is a play on straight lines consisting of a border of Abelias and olives in vases, providing a relaxing area for inhabitants and guests. On the opposite side, there is a small hanging garden, designed around the existing lime-tree, where a double row of Pittosporum and Osmanthus hedges creates a more intimate area. Frassinago has looked after the garden from its birth to today.
