Temporary, Milan, 2016
Together with Studio Calvi Brambilla, Frassinago created an area for Zanotta at the 2016 Salone del Mobile.Inspired by Villa Muggia in Imola, reinterpreted by Piero Bottoni from a rationalistic point of view, but uninhabited for decades, a scene setting was created to envelop the fenice table: designed in 1936 and rewritten by Zanotta, it once again emerges from the ashes. The squared lines of the rooms are invaded by exuberant greenery. Just as ivy and ficus take over in abandoned houses, Sterlizias and Monsteras conquer all the remaining space.
