Flos

A large darkroom, this is how the Flos area presents itself in the Design Holding space of the 2019 Milan Furniture Fair. Designed on two levels by Studio Calvi Brambilla, the stand is among the largest in the history of this important event.On the ground floor, leaving behind a labyrinthine sequence of white rooms, you are welcomed in a large, dark space where the Flos outdoor lights stand out like torches. Aerial display platforms follow one another like green islands, in which the lighting elements emerge directly from the lawn, like the maples that surround them. The trees seem to grow suspended, rooted in a few centimetres of soil. All around, the leaves cast shadows and reflections.
