A green roof that gives energy and warmth

The Frassinago Showroom, which has always been the studio's research and experimentation laboratory, now has a new green roof, which at the same time achieves the energy efficiency of the building and its immersion in the surrounding nature. Tecnoenergie's photovoltaic panels are inserted in a covering of different varieties of Sedum, which covers and insulates the structure. Crassulaceae grow on a thin, extensive package, created in collaboration with ClimaGrün: after the first six months of rooting, the roof lawn will support itself, without the need for irrigation.
