Castiglione Terrace
Residential, Terrace, Bologna, 2015
A terrace conceived as an elegant lounge, protected from the city traffic. An intimate space, in which also the essences are minute: among the needles of the yews, the small leaves of the boxwood and of the ivy. An evergreen garden which remains almost unchangeable through the seasons, if it were not for the maple trees, whose leaves and disamara show the passing of time, going from green to red and then dropping or flying away, leaving the sculptural branches free. In the spring, instead, the wall of the house is covered with the owers of the climbing jasmine, able, over the arc of time, to cover the house completely. Frassinago created the terrace in 2010 and follows it over time, taking care of the growth, following the movements of the plants.
