Frassinago wanted to intervene in the field surrounding its headquarters for many years, but needed a project that exceeded the size of the garden in order to properly scale itself to the park. A meeting with artist Giorgio Bevignani generated a ritualistic passage: a grass sculpture, a threshold of light, a breach in the dark. For just one evening, that of the summer solstice, the soil and its ruderal vegetation were illuminated to reveal the plan of an ideal and ephemeral city. Thanks to a few weeks of preparatory work and the agronomic skills of the company, nightfall brought a luminescence to the field, as blades of grass cut to different heights and marbled by fluorine paint began to glow. As time passes, new interventions - natural and sculptural - will find space in this area as it becomes a place of experimentation, creativity and evolution.
