For the 2019 edition of the Milan Furniture Fair, Frassinago designed the greenery of the space of B&B Italia, Flos, and Louis Poulsen, designed by Studio Calvi Brambilla. A stand that becomes architecture, creating two floors in the volume of the fair.Going up the staircase, you enter the large lounge area, conceived as a cosy outdoor cafe. Olive trees (Olea europaea) and holm oaks (Quercus ilex) surprisingly rise around the tables and chairs, planted on the ground, in the space of a few tens of centimetres. A hanging garden suspended four meters above the ground, in which the dark green foliage of the holm oaks and the silvery green one of the olive trees become light sources, reverberating the light of the lighting elements inserted between the branches. Like in a Mediterranean square on summer evenings.
