Furla Progetto Italia

The new production and creative headquarters of Furla is immersed in the Florentine hills: the garden surrounding and covering it is articulated in large patios and green roofs in dialogue with the surrounding nature.
The entire roof is conceived as a vast planter hosting a mosaic of plants: ornamental grasses and herbaceous species that live year-round but transform over time. In winter, they go dormant, then grow, expand, and take on pale, silvery shades in the following seasons, offering visual comfort throughout summer.
Around, the hilly landscape alternates between fields and forests of hornbeam and oak. Frassinago has shaped the project by Studio Land, designing the garden as a refined yet spontaneous and controlled variation of the native landscape.
