House IMP

Crossing the entrance of a villa overlooking the Trentino Dolomites, one is met with a surprising woodland of swamp oaks and holm oaks. The majestic natural landscape blends into the domestic space, shielding the house from external views.
The garden’s volumes echo the architecture’s strict forms: the perimeter hornbeam hedge and the shading pergola create green lines that duplicate or intersect with the house’s dark walls.
Even the basement area opens onto a green retaining wall, offering visual relief and sound absorption. Frassinago crafts a natural horizon even where the surrounding landscape remains unseen.
