House K

Garden, Residential, Lugano, 2017
Overlooking Lake Lugano, Casa K is a strong presence in dark concrete, whose black pigmentation is accentuated in the sunlight and fades into the grey sky. Behind this rigorous shape, there is a large rock that comes out of the mountain and a forest on a steep slope.
Frassinago recovered the majestic pre-existing trees, beeches, oaks, and English oaks, creating an undergrowth of ferns, vinca, and viburnums around them. Next to the entrance, a small new forest of maples and oaks: different green shades in spring, in autumn they light up with warm red and yellow tones. Thanks to the large windows, the garden enters the rooms and passes through them.
